H05VVH2-F Multi-core sheathed flat flexible cable
Rated voltage: Uo/U 300/500 V
Standards: EN 50525-1, EN 50525-2-11, EN IEC 60332-1-2, EN IEC 60228.
European directives: 2014/35/UE (LVD) - 2011/65/EC and 2015/863/EU (RoHS).
Conductor: flexible annealed plain copper class 5 (EN IEC 60228).
Insulation: PVC of type TI2.
Colours of the cores: blue-brown;
Sheath: PVC of type TM2.
Colour of the sheath: black or white or grey; if explicitly requested, and for agreed quantities, the cables can be supplied in other single colours.
Marking: continuous marking on the sheath: on one side « ICEL H05VVH2-F IEMMEQU <HAR> ECOGAMMA BS 6500 » ;
on the opposite side « nominal cross section, year of production, MADE IN ITALY ».
Minimum installation and handling temperature: + 5 °C
Maximum operating temperature: 60 °C on the conductor.
Minimum usage temperature: - 10 °C only if the cable is not subjected to shocks, vibrations, movements or other mechanical stresses. If the cable is operated at a constant current and so is not subjected to expansions and contractions due to the conductor temperature variations, it is possible to be used even at lower temperatures.
Maximum short circuit temperature: 150 °C on the conductor (for maximum 5 seconds).
Minimum internal bending radius:
For free movements: 5 times the smaller dimension of flat cable;
For fixed installations 3 times the greatest overall dimension;
wrappings 7 times the greatest overall dimension if smaller than 12 mm; 8 times if greater.
Maximum tensile stress: 1,5 kg/mm² of the conductor cross section.
Current carrying capacity: see EN 50565-1 standard and CEI-UNEL 35024.
For cross-sections up to 1 mm²:
cross-section (mm²) 0,75 - 1
current (A) 6 - 10
Guidance for Use:
for installation in domestic premises, kitchens, offices, for household appliances, including in damp premises.
Unsuitable for outdoor use, in industrial or agricultural buildings and for non domestic portable tools.
H05VVH2-F cables are suitable for household appliances, including in damp premises and for cooking and heating appliances provided that they are not in contact with hot or thermal radiating parts.
Further instructions and guidance for use are given in the EN 50565 standard.
These cables are to be used only for electrical power transmission and to be installed only by skilled personal.
* For present agreements it is not allowed to mark the Harmonised cables and their labels with the marking of special national Standards.
The marking “ECOGAMMA” indicates the use of lead free compounds.
