On Saturday, May 20th, ICEL hosted an Open Day as part of the 3rd Festival of Industry and Corporate Values organized by Confindustria Romagna.The event was a great success, with a large number of participants including authorities, employees and their families, and citizens.
The flawless internal organization saw the contribution of most employees not directly involved in the production process, in a convivial and festive atmosphere.Special appreciation goes to the catering service, which served over 1,000 piadinas, along with fries and desserts.
Over 250 people participated in guided tours of the factory in full operation, discovering the industrial production process for creating a product, the electrical cable, which we commonly see in our homes already ready for use.
The opening of the initiative, presented by ICEL President Andrea Babini, was attended by Bishop Tommaso Ghirelli of the Diocese of Imola, local authorities, and representatives of the organizations and associations to which ICEL belongs.
Greetings were delivered by Luca Piovaccari, President of the Municipalities of Bassa Romagna, Stefano Pucci, Confindustria delegate for the Lugo area, Giovanni Monti, President of Legacoop Emilia Romagna, and Lorenzo Cottignoli, President of the Federation of Cooperatives.
The initiative proved to be an opportunity to strengthen the company's bond with the territory, already strong thanks to the sponsorship of the Lugo Athletics Society, active in youth sports and whose athletes have achieved numerous successes, even at the national level
