H05RN-F Multicore flexible cables

Rated voltage: Uo/U 300/500 V

Standards: EN 50525-1, EN 50525-2-21, EN IEC 60228.

European directives: 2014/35/UE (LVD)  - 2011/65/EC and 2015/863/EU (RoHS).

Conductor: flexible annealed plain copper class 5 (EN IEC 60228)

Insulation: Rubber of type EI4.

Core colours:
Two-core : blue-brown;
Three-core : green/yellow-blue-brown or brown-black-grey;
Four-core : green/yellow-brown-black-grey or blue-brown-black-grey;

Sheath: Rubber of type EM2
Colour black; if specifically requested, and for agreed quantities, the sheath can be supplied in other single-colours.

Marking: continuous marking on the sheath « LOMBARDA H05RN-F nominal cross section OZONE RESISTANT IEMMEQU <HAR> production date Made in Italy ».

Minimum installation and handling temperature: - 25 °C

Maximum operating temperature: 60 °C on the conductor.

Minimum usage temperature: - 40 °C only if the cable is not subjected to shocks, vibrations, movements or other mechanical stresses. If the cable is operated at a constant current and so is not subjected to expansions and contractions due to the conductor temperature variations, it is possible to be used even at lower temperatures.

Maximum short circuit temperature: 200 °C on the conductor (for maximum 5 seconds).

Minimum internal bending radius:
For free movement: 4 times the greatest overall dimension;
For fixed installations: 3 times the greatest overall dimension;
For repeated reeling: 6 times the greatest overall dimension.

Maximum tensile stress: 1,5 kg/mm² of the conductor cross section.

Current carrying capacity: see EN 50565-1 standard and CEI-UNEL 35024.

Guide to Use:
for use in domestic premises, kitchens, offices and for appliances where the cables are subjected to low mechanical stresses (e.g. vacuum cleaners, cooking appliances, soldering irons, toasters).
Not suitable for permanent use outdoors, in agriculture, in industrial or agricultural workshops or for supplying non-domestic tools. Where a black sheath is specified and tested against appropriate requirements, or the manufactures has demonstrated suitable alternative protection, permanent outdoor use may be permitted.

All the above cables are to be used only for electrical power transmission and to be installed only by skilled personal.

The cables H05RN-F are "flame retardant on a single vertical cable test" according to the test EN / IEC 60332-1-2 as indicated in the EN 50525-2-21 and EN 50525-2-81 standards.

The cables H05RN-F do not need the RoHS conformity declaration as they fall out of the scope of the directive.

These cables may been used with electric/electronic equipment that  are called up by the directive as they satisfy the RoHS requirements.
